If the maker's servers fail, the app can lose contact with the car, so locking or pre-heating it from your phone stops working. At a public charger, the app might not start a session.

Method

How these statuses work

Every status here comes from problem reports sent in by users. They are counted in 15-minute windows across the last 24 hours, then compared with the level that is normal for each service. A sudden jump well above that level is shown as an outage, and a smaller rise as problems. The data refreshes about every five minutes. Open any service for its 24-hour chart of reports, recent incidents, fixes to try and official support links.

About this list

Why is a service missing from the list?

Only the 1,304 services shown here are covered, and there is no way to request new ones. If you cannot find one, try a shorter or different spelling in the filter first. For a service that is not listed, check the company's own status page or its support site instead.

What do the coloured labels and numbers like 12/h mean?

An amber Problems label means reports for that service are above their usual level, and a red Outage label means they have jumped well past it. Services without a label look normal. A figure such as 12/h is how many reports came in over the last hour.

How does a service get marked as having problems?

Each service is compared with its own usual level of reports rather than one fixed number, because a large messaging app and a small cantonal bank get very different counts on an ordinary day. A moderate rise above that level shows as problems, and a sudden jump well past it as an outage.

How often does the page update?

Roughly every five minutes. A problem that began only moments ago may not show yet, so if you are waiting for a change, reload the page after a few minutes.

Why can a service have reports but still look normal?

A few reports can arrive even while a service works for nearly everyone, for example from someone whose own connection or account is the problem. The status only changes when reports climb above what is usual for that service, so a small count with no label usually does not mean a wider fault.

How can I get an alert about a service?

If your browser supports notifications, press "Alert me" on the service's own page and allow them when asked. You will then get a notification when its status changes, as long as that page stays open, even in a background tab. Phones often pause background tabs, so alerts are most reliable on a computer. The site has no app or accounts and does not send email or SMS alerts.
