D&D Beyond is the official digital toolset for Dungeons & Dragons. Players and Dungeon Masters rely on its character builder, digital rulebooks, campaign pages, and dice roller, so an outage interrupts character sheets, sourcebook access, shared notes, and table rolls.

Login and character sheet loading tend to fail first, so you may see a spinner or hit an error when the page tries to save a change. Is D&D Beyond down right now?

Why does my character sheet stop at the loading spinner?
Start with the login. A sheet stuck at the loading spinner usually has a stale session or a half-saved app cache behind it, so sign out and back in, then clear the site data for the browser or reinstall the mobile app. If only one character fails, check the campaign it belongs to and confirm the sourcebook it uses is still shared with you.

Why is a book or subclass missing after I bought it?
Check the account first. Purchases attach to the account that made them, so confirm you are signed into that same account and that the order appears in your account history. In a shared campaign, ask the DM to turn on content sharing for that campaign; without it, the other players cannot open your copy. A subscription lapse can also hide shared content until billing is fixed.

Reload the campaign page first. A freeze in the dice roller or encounter builder often comes from a tab that lost its connection while the campaign stayed open elsewhere. Test the same action in a private window with extensions and ad blockers off.
