How to fix Forza not working

Forza is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Your browser tries to reach forza.net over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.

  1. Quit Forza fully and relaunch

    On Xbox, press the Xbox button, highlight Forza, press the Menu button, and choose Quit. On PC, close the game from Task Manager with Ctrl+Shift+Esc, then start it again.

  2. Test the Xbox network connection

    Open Settings > General > Network settings > Test network connection on your Xbox. If the test fails, restart your router and console, then run the test again before you launch the game.

  3. Clear the alternate MAC address

    On Xbox, go to Settings > General > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address, then choose Clear and let the console restart. This gives the console a fresh network identity and can clear a stuck connection.

  4. Reinstall Forza

    Open My games & apps, highlight Forza, press the Menu button, and choose Manage game and add-ons > Uninstall. Reinstall it from your library or the Microsoft Store, then launch it once the download finishes. If the problem continues, search the Forza help centre for the exact message you see.

Forza is a football scores app for phones and tablets, and fans rely on it for live match updates, lineups, stats, and goal alerts. When the service has trouble, you lose the live parts: score refreshes, push notifications, match timelines, and lineup details can all lag while cached fixtures and old scores stay on screen.

Is Forza down right now?

Why does Forza Horizon 5 keep disconnecting me from online sessions?
A drop can come from your connection or from your Xbox network sign-in. Check your NAT type first. If you can, switch from Wi-Fi to a wired link, restart the game, sign back into Xbox network, and test the same session on a phone hotspot to see if the fault follows your network.

Why can't I join a friend's convoy in Forza Horizon 5?
Convoys need both players signed into Xbox network and able to reach the same online session. A strict NAT type or a privacy setting that blocks multiplayer can stop the invite from landing. Try a direct invite after both of you restart the game, and test with a different friend to see if the problem follows your account or your network.

Why is my Forza Horizon 5 save not syncing between Xbox and PC?
Cloud saves travel through the Microsoft account you use for Xbox network, so a different sign-in on the PC will show a different garage. Let the sync finish before you launch into a race. Do not pick the older local save if the game asks; that can overwrite progress. Check the account on both devices, then restart the game.

Why does Forza Motorsport crash when I launch it on PC?
