Reload and restart
Reload the page (Ctrl+F5, or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac), or fully close the app and open it again.
Try another connection
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If it works on one and not the other, the problem is your network, not Paylocity.
Update the app
Install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. Old versions can stop connecting after a server-side change.
While Paylocity is down: what to use instead
- Web login Use the browser login when the mobile app will not load or keeps signing you out.
- Payroll or HR contact Call or message your payroll admin if you cannot reach a pay stub or timesheet through the app; they can pull the record from their side.
- Paper timesheet Write your hours on a paper sheet or ask a manager to enter them when the time clock screen fails and a payroll deadline is close.
- Bank app Check your account when you only need to confirm a direct deposit landed and the pay stub page will not open.
