How to fix Warframe not working

Warframe is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Restart Warframe and its launcher
On console, quit the app from the system menu rather than dropping back to the dashboard, and on PC shut the launcher too, then start it again; a login screen that hangs or a window that stays black tends to clear here. A Network not responding banner that survives the restart points further down the chain.
Change your region and ping limit
Open the launcher, then click the gear icon and pick a region closer to you; in game, head to Options, Gameplay and raise the Ping Limit slider or set it to No Limit. A tight limit keeps the matchmaker from pairing you with hosts that can reach you, which looks like a dead connection even when nothing is down.
Verify the game files
On Steam, right-click the game in your library, then Properties, Installed Files, Verify integrity of game files. The standalone launcher does the same through the Verify option behind the gear icon, checking the download cache. Crashes at launch and updates that fail halfway often trace back to a corrupt file, and this repairs it without a reinstall.
Fix a strict NAT warning
The game names UDP ports 4950 and 4955 in the strict NAT warning you see at login, so turn UPnP on in the router or forward those ports to your PC. Consoles want the same setting, and a restart makes the client run the check again. If the warning stays, send a ticket to the help centre (https://www.warframe.com/support) with your platform and what the screen shows.

Warframe is a free-to-play online action game where squads run missions and trade mods across shared servers. Players depend on it for daily logins, clan activity, matchmaking, and inventory upkeep, so an outage cuts off mission launches, social hubs, trading, and inventory updates.

Is Warframe down right now?

Try another online game or website on the same device, then switch from Wi-Fi to a wired connection or mobile data. If the launcher or login screen opens but a mission or squad join fails, the fault is likely your connection or that session, not the whole service.

Why do I keep seeing Network Not Responding in Warframe?

That message means the game client lost contact with its servers or your connection dropped, often during login or when a mission loads. Test your connection with another online game. Restart your router, then see whether the reports at the top of this page are above normal. If only your machine is affected, the problem is local, so contact the help centre if it keeps happening.

Warframe says Failed to join session when I try to play with friends. What can I check?

This error usually points to a strict NAT or a firewall block. The host may have left. Check your router's NAT type and UPnP settings, then restart your router and try again. If it happens with one friend only, their connection is the likely cause.

My Platinum or Prime Access purchase is missing in Warframe. What should I do?

Store purchases can lag while the platform finishes processing them. Restart the game and check your inventory and account balance before you buy again. If the item or currency still does not show, contact the help centre with your order number and a copy of the platform receipt. Do not open a second purchase while the first one is pending.

Why can't I play Warframe with friends on another platform after turning on cross play?

Everyone in the squad has to turn on cross play, and your setting alone will not help if a friend has it off. After you change the setting, restart the game so the matchmaking list refreshes. Invites can still fail if one of you has platform privacy settings that block messages or friend requests. Check those settings first, then use the help centre if invites keep failing.
