Much of the web runs on the platforms below, so one failure at Amazon Web Services or Cloudflare can knock many unrelated sites offline in one go. Login services like Sign in with Apple are included, and when one is down, signing in to apps that otherwise work can fail.

Where the numbers come from
Every status here comes from problem reports that users send to a public outage-reporting service. This site collects them about every five minutes, counts them in 15-minute windows and compares each count with the usual level for that service at that time of day. A jump well above that level shows as an outage, and a smaller rise as problems. Reports show that many people had trouble at the same time. They are not a measurement of downtime.
