How to fix OneLogin not working

OneLogin is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Open a private or incognito window and go to your OneLogin portal. If you can sign in there, the saved session in your normal browser is stale; clear cookies and cached files for onelogin.com before you try again.
Clear OneLogin cookies and site data
In your browser settings, open the privacy or history section, choose cookies and site data, and remove entries for onelogin.com. Remove entries for the app domain that fails too, then close every window and sign in from the portal again.
Check your security factors
Sign in to your OneLogin profile, open Security Factors, and check that your active factor, such as OneLogin Protect, is still paired. If you changed phones, remove the old device and add the new one before you open the app again.

OneLogin is single sign-on and multi-factor authentication for work, so staff at companies log in once to reach email, HR tools, VPNs and cloud apps. Logins just stop working.

You hit it first at the login screen, where the browser spins or bounces you back to the password prompt. Because SAML and OIDC logins depend on the service, your Slack or Salesforce tiles fail while direct logins with saved passwords still open at work. Protect pushes never arrive. Is OneLogin down right now?

My OneLogin Protect push never arrives. What can I do?

Push delivery needs data on your phone and permission for the app to run in the background. Check both. If you need in now, open the app and type the code it shows, since a code works with no network at all. A code that fails points at your device clock, which drifts and breaks the time-based numbers; signing out on the phone and back in clears a stuck push.

Why do I get stuck in a redirect loop when I sign in to a connected app?

A loop usually means the app and the identity provider disagree about your session, often after a password change or a stale cookie. Clear cookies for the app domain and for the portal, then start again from the app. If it still loops, ask your admin whether the SAML certificate for that app was rotated; an expired cert sends you back and forth with no error shown.

I never get the OneLogin password reset email. What now?

Look in spam and quarantine folders first, because filters catch these often. The message goes to whatever address sits on your profile, so an old work alias will never receive it. Your admin can trigger a reset from the admin console, which beats waiting. If your company signs you in through its own identity provider, reset the password there instead.

I lost my phone and can't approve the MFA prompt. How do I get in?

Use a second factor or your saved recovery codes from a computer at the sign-in screen. If you have neither, your admin can clear the MFA factor on your account so you can enroll a new device. The reset has to come from your own admin, since that prompt is the only thing standing between your account and anyone holding your password. Once you are back in, add two factors.
