Troubleshooting

How to fix CelcomDigi not working

CelcomDigi is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Your browser tries to reach celcomdigi.com over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.

  1. Toggle airplane mode on CelcomDigi

Open Quick Settings and turn Airplane mode on; wait a few seconds, turn it off, then switch Mobile data back on. This forces the phone to register with the network again and clears a stuck data session.

  2. Restart the phone and recheck CelcomDigi

On iPhone, open Settings > General > Shut Down; on Android, hold the power button and tap Restart. When it boots, open a web page and check whether the signal bars and carrier name return for the CelcomDigi SIM.

  3. Check the CelcomDigi APN

On a Samsung phone, go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names and confirm the CelcomDigi APN is selected. On iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network and check that the APN field has the right values. If either screen is blank, get the APN details from CelcomDigi support instead of guessing.

  4. Reset network settings for CelcomDigi

This clears saved Wi-Fi passwords and Bluetooth pairings, so note them first. On iPhone, open Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. On Android, the path varies by maker, often Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings; it resets the APN to the carrier default, so check mobile data after the reboot.

While CelcomDigi is down: what to use instead

  • Second SIM If calls or texts fail on the CelcomDigi line, put a SIM from another network in a spare phone so you can still reach people.
  • Wi-Fi messaging When mobile data drops but Wi-Fi works, send messages through WhatsApp or another chat app rather than waiting on SMS.
  • Provider website For account checks or top-ups, open the provider's website in a browser because it can load when the app will not.
  • Card or bank app If an in-app payment fails, pay the bill with a debit or credit card through your bank's app instead of retrying the same screen.
Same time

Problems at the same time as CelcomDigi

Since 28 October, all 4 of CelcomDigi's spikes in problem reports overlapped a spike at another service.

When several services get problem reports at once, something they share, such as a cloud host or a network, can be the real cause. Matching times alone do not prove it.

A spike is a sharp rise in problem reports from users, as the live pages showed it. Times are Central European time.

About

What happens when CelcomDigi goes down

CelcomDigi runs a mobile network in Malaysia, and individuals and businesses rely on it for calls, texts, data, and account management. An outage interrupts those basics, plus the app used to check balances or manage a line; the status at the top of each page shows whether user problem reports for the service are above their usual level, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours, and this site does not ping, probe, poll, or monitor the service itself, nor does it check from multiple locations.

Mobile data often stalls first, so you see pages stop loading, chat apps sit on sending, map tiles fail to draw, and the CelcomDigi app may fail to open or refresh account details. Calls then drop or fail to connect, and text messages may queue until the connection returns. A partial fault can leave one area or one service type broken while the rest works, so a neighbour on another line may see no trouble at all.

Questions

CelcomDigi FAQ

Is CelcomDigi down right now?

The status at the top of this page shows whether user problem reports for CelcomDigi are above their usual level, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. To see if the problem is only on your side, use another device on a different connection. If that works, switch between mobile data and Wi-Fi on your phone and restart it to check for a local fault.

Why does mobile data stop while calls and SMS still work on my CelcomDigi line?

Calls and texts can keep working while mobile data fails because the data quota is used up or the data toggle is off. Check the toggle and restart the phone; testing the SIM in another device can show whether the line or the phone is at fault. If the same line fails in another phone, contact support, and if only your phone fails, reset the network settings.

Why does the CelcomDigi app log me out when I try to pay a bill or buy a top-up?

A login loop often starts with an outdated app or a broken session. Log out fully, clear the app cache, check the date and time on your phone, and sign in again on a stable Wi-Fi connection. If the same screen repeats, reinstall the app. Use a browser to reach your account if you need to pay before the app works.

Why does my phone show 'No service' in one area but work in another on the same line?

A dead spot can come from local coverage or from a phone that drops the network after a handover. Toggle airplane mode and reseat the SIM if the tray has moved. Compare with another line in the same spot on a different phone. If only your phone fails, reset the network settings and check the network mode.

I paid my CelcomDigi bill but my line still shows a bar or says payment pending. What should I do?

A payment can take time to post, so check the receipt and the account balance before you pay again. If the app shows a pending payment, close it and reopen the bill page after a short wait; paying twice can create a duplicate. If the line stays barred after the payment clears, contact support with the receipt details.

How we track CelcomDigi

The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for CelcomDigi, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for CelcomDigi, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.

When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. CelcomDigi doesn't publish a public status page that we know of, so user reports are often the quickest sign that something is wrong on their side.
