How to fix Uncharted not working

Uncharted is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Restart Uncharted
On PS5, press the PS button, highlight the game tile in the control center, press Options, and choose Close Game. On PS4, hold the PS button and select Close Application. If the app froze on a loading screen, this clears the stuck session without touching your save data.
Test your connection
Go to Settings > Network > Test Internet Connection and wait for the result. If it fails, restart your router and modem, then run the test again. When the campaign loads but multiplayer still drops, the problem is usually your link to PlayStation Network rather than the game install.
Restore licenses
On PS5, open Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Restore Licenses; on PS4, the same option sits under Settings > Account Management > Restore Licenses. Press Options on the game tile, then choose Check for Update. A license or version mismatch can block a launch, even when the game is installed.
Reinstall the game
Press Options on the game tile and select Delete. Open your game library and download the title again, or insert the disc if you have a physical copy. Your save data stays separate from the game install, so this does not remove your progress.

What happens when Uncharted goes down

Uncharted is a PlayStation action-adventure series. You play it for cinematic treasure hunts and online multiplayer in some entries, so an outage can block sign-in, matchmaking, party invites, and progress uploads.

Sign-in checks break first. Matchmaking stalls, party invites hang, online matches and Survival co-op drop you back to the menu, and leaderboards or stats stop updating. Single-player campaigns can still load if your console or PC already has the license cached, but a fresh download or a digital copy check can fail until sign-in recovers. Why can't I join multiplayer matches in Uncharted 4?

If matchmaking spins and drops you back to the lobby, the PlayStation Network link is often at fault. Test your connection first. When you can sign in and play another online title but this mode still fails, check the official status page and restart the game because a stale session blocks new joins.

How do I get Uncharted trophies to show on my profile after playing offline?

You earn trophies while offline, but they stay on your console until you reconnect and sync. If your profile shows zero recent activity after you reconnect, open your trophy list and choose sync because PlayStation sometimes holds the update until you push it. Keep PSN signed in.

What should I delete or reinstall when Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection crashes on PS5?

When the collection closes to the PS5 dashboard right after the logo, your install or saved data holds the fault in most cases you see. Update the game first. When it still crashes, reinstall it from your library after you back up saves to cloud storage.

Can I still play Uncharted story mode while PSN has problems?
