How to fix Robinhood not working
Robinhood is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:
Your browser tries to reach robinhood.com over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.
Reload and restart
Reload the page (Ctrl+F5, or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac), or fully close the app and open it again.
Try another connection
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If it works on one and not the other, the problem is your network, not Robinhood.
Update the app
Install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. Old versions can stop connecting after a server-side change.
While Robinhood is down: what to use instead
- Robinhood website Open the site in a browser if the mobile app will not load; the web login can get you to your account when the app alone is the problem.
- Fidelity Use Fidelity if you need another brokerage to place a trade or check a separate account while the app is unreachable.
- Schwab Schwab gives you a second brokerage login for order entry or balance checks when you cannot get into the app.
- Your bank's app Your bank's app can handle transfers or balance checks if you need cash access and the brokerage app is not responding.

How we track Robinhood
The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for Robinhood, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for Robinhood, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.
When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. This is separate from Robinhood's official status page: user reports tend to show a problem early, while the official page confirms the cause. If the two disagree, check both.
