Retry AliExpress on mobile data
Swipe down from the top of an Android phone and tap the Wi-Fi icon, or open Control Center on iPhone and tap the Wi-Fi button, then load an item page on mobile data. If the page opens, restart the router or forget the network and join it again.
Open AliExpress in a private window
In Chrome, use the three-dot menu and pick New Incognito tab; in Safari, tap the tabs button and pick Private. Sign in and load the same item page. If the page works there, clear cookies and site data for the normal session, then sign in again.
Clear the AliExpress app cache
Open Settings, tap Apps, choose AliExpress, then Storage and cache, and tap Clear cache; leave Clear storage alone unless you want to sign in again. Reopen the app and load an item page. If the app still crashes or stalls on the splash screen, install the pending update from Play Store.
Reinstall the AliExpress app
Uninstall AliExpress, restart the phone, then install it again from App Store or Play Store. Sign back in and load the order history page, not just the home screen. If checkout still fails, try the same account on the website in a desktop browser so you can tell whether the problem is the app or the account.

What happens when AliExpress goes down

AliExpress is an online marketplace where sellers list products and shoppers buy them through the website or mobile app, and it covers product search and checkout. Small resellers and everyday shoppers rely on it, so an outage interrupts browsing and payment.

When AliExpress has trouble, product pages and search results often stall first, with images that never load and a spinner that hangs on the category screen. You may get through browsing and then find the cart drops items or checkout fails when you try to pay, while order history and tracking pages can return errors or show stale status. The app can log you out or refuse to load the home feed even when the website still opens, and seller messages may fail to send. Is AliExpress down right now?

To see if the trouble is only on your side, try the same page on mobile data, then on another device or browser; if other sites load and the app fails only on your Wi-Fi, the problem is local. Clearing the browser cache, or turning off a VPN and adblocker together, often settles a page that will not load while the rest of the web works.

Why does the AliExpress app show a blank screen or crash when I open it?

A blank screen or a crash on launch usually points to a stale app cache or an outdated build. Update the app from your app store, then clear its cache in the phone settings; on iOS, delete and reinstall the app if the blank screen returns. If it still fails, test the same account in a mobile browser to separate an app fault from a login or network issue.

Why did my AliExpress payment fail at checkout?

A failed payment can come from your bank blocking the charge or a card that does not support cross-border purchases. Check that the billing address matches the card on file, then try another payment method. If the order page keeps returning to checkout, remove the item from the cart and add it again before paying.

Why does AliExpress say my item cannot be shipped to my address?

Shipping restrictions vary by seller and warehouse, so an item that ships to one country may not ship to yours. Check the delivery options on the product page before you buy, and try a nearby address or a different seller if the checkout blocks your postcode. Some large items also fail when the courier does not cover your area, which shows up as a shipping error at checkout rather than on the product page.

Why is my AliExpress order stuck on 'Awaiting shipment'?

That status means the seller has your payment but has not handed the parcel to a carrier yet. Sellers often need a few days to pack an order, and a public holiday in their region can add more time. If the status does not change after the stated processing window, open a dispute from the order details page and message the seller through the order chat.
