How to fix Borderlands 3 not working

Borderlands 3 is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

1. Restart Borderlands 3 and your device

   Close the game and restart your PC or console. Quit your launcher or console dashboard before you relaunch it; a stale session can leave the main menu stuck on a connection check, and that is why a full restart often works first. Start the game again.

2. Test your network for Borderlands 3

   On PlayStation, go to Settings > Network > Test Internet Connection, and on Xbox, go to Settings > General > Network settings > Test network connection. A strict NAT or Type 3 connection blocks matchmaking and online co-op. Reboot your router and modem if the test fails.
