How to fix BetMGM not working

BetMGM is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Your browser tries to reach sports.betmgm.com over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.

Force quit and reopen BetMGM
Swipe up from the bottom on iPhone, then swipe the BetMGM card away; on Android, open Settings > Apps > BetMGM > Force stop, then launch the app again. That resets the session. If the screen is frozen or the bet slip will not load, this clears the stuck state without changing your account.
Check location access for BetMGM
On iPhone, open Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services, select BetMGM, choose While Using the App, and switch on Precise Location. On Android, open Settings > Apps > BetMGM > Permissions > Location and choose Allow only while using the app; turn off any VPN if the app still cannot confirm where you are.
Update BetMGM and your phone
Open the App Store or Google Play and tap Update for BetMGM if the button is there; then install any pending iOS or Android system update. An old app build can break login and the bet slip.
Reinstall BetMGM from the app store
Delete the app and download it again from the App Store or Google Play; restart your phone first if the install fails. If you still cannot sign in, reset your password from the sign-in screen instead of making a new account.

What happens when BetMGM goes down

BetMGM is a sports betting and casino app for people who wager on games or play casino titles. An outage interrupts login, live odds, the bet slip, and the cashier when you want to act.

Login breaks first. The app may reject your password or hang on the sign-in screen while the website still opens. Live odds can freeze, and the bet slip may fail to load or refuse a wager once you get in. Cashier screens can error out on deposits or withdrawals, so a payout may look missing even after the rest of the app returns. One platform or one state's app can fail while another works; try a second device before you call the whole service down.
