LeetCode outages and problems
In the past 24 hours, 10 user reports came in for LeetCode. Counting only the 15-minute windows with a spike big enough to count as an outage, that comes to 100.00% uptime for the day.
The busiest 15-minute window had 5 reports, about 7 hours ago. That stays below our outage threshold, so it doesn't count as downtime.

How to fix LeetCode not working
LeetCode is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:
Your browser tries to reach leetcode.com over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.
Reload and restart
Reload the page (Ctrl+F5, or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac), or fully close the app and open it again.
Try another connection
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If it works on one and not the other, the problem is your network, not LeetCode.
Update the app
Install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. Old versions can stop connecting after a server-side change.
Common LeetCode error messages
What each message means and what to try. The wording can differ a little between app versions.
-
Time Limit Exceeded
- Means
- Your code took longer than the judge allows for this problem.
- Fix
- Find a faster algorithm or cut repeated work. Then submit again.
-
Wrong Answer
- Means
- The output did not match the expected result on at least one test case.
- Fix
- Open the failing test case and compare your output with the expected output. Correct the logic and submit again.
-
Runtime Error
- Means
- The program stopped with an unhandled error while running a test case.
- Fix
- Check for out-of-range indexes and null values on the input. Fix the line that broke and submit again.
-
Compile Error
- Means
- The submitted code did not build, so the judge could not run it.
- Fix
- Read the compiler output under the verdict and fix the syntax or type error it names. Submit again once it builds.
While LeetCode is down: what to use instead
- Codeforces Contest practice still works here when the contest page stalls.
- HackerRank Use topic-based algorithm drills for interview practice if submissions keep failing on the main site.
- CodeChef Try a different judge for competitive programming problems when you need a fresh set.
- GeeksforGeeks Practice Open a written explanation and solve a practice problem when you want a walkthrough before you write code.

How we track LeetCode
The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for LeetCode, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for LeetCode, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.
When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. LeetCode doesn't publish a public status page that we know of, so user reports are often the quickest sign that something is wrong on their side.
