How to fix Signal not working
Signal is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Reload and restart
Reload the page (Ctrl+F5, or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac), or fully close the app and open it again.
Try another connection
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If it works on one and not the other, the problem is your network, not Signal.
Update the app
Install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. Old versions can stop connecting after a server-side change.
While Signal is down: what to use instead
- WhatsApp Use WhatsApp for a quick message or group chat when the people you need already have it installed and can reply there, since a text thread may be enough to keep the conversation moving.
- Phone call Call for urgent updates.
- SMS Send a text from your phone's Messages app if the other person has a phone number and you only need short updates to get through.
- Telegram Try Telegram if the person you need has an account there and a short message will do.
