What happens when OFX goes down

OFX is an online international money transfer and foreign exchange service. People and businesses use it to send funds abroad and pay overseas recipients, so an outage interrupts rate quotes, transfer setup, payment tracking, and account access.

How do I add a recipient's bank account for an international transfer?

Open the transfer flow and add the recipient with the bank details exactly as your recipient gives them. If the form rejects the account, check the country and account type first; the help centre has country-specific guidance.

Why has my transfer not moved after I sent the money?

A transfer can sit while OFX waits for the funds to clear or while the recipient details are checked. Check the funding instructions in your account and confirm your bank sent the payment to the right reference; if the status has not changed, contact the help centre with your transfer reference.

Why does the app say my identity check is still pending?

Identity checks can stay pending while the documents you uploaded are reviewed or if a name or address does not match your ID. Open the app and check for a request for a clearer document; if none appears, ask the help centre to look at the verification case.

Can I cancel a transfer after I have funded it?

You can ask to cancel a transfer, but once the money has been converted or sent to the recipient it may not be possible to stop it. Check the transfer status in your account and contact the help centre as soon as you can; have the transfer reference ready.
