Google Gemini is Google's AI assistant for chat and image questions. You can open it in a browser or a phone app, and an outage interrupts prompt answers, file uploads, the side panel in Gmail, and the side panel in Docs, which slows down drafting and research.

When the app has trouble, prompts often spin or fail to send before anything else breaks. You may get an error after you send a prompt, and the reply never arrives. File uploads and image questions can hang, while the side panel in Gmail or Docs may load a blank box or drop your draft. Why can't I use Gemini extensions with my work Google Account?

Why does image generation fail and say it can't create that image?
