Reinstall app to fix stuck Buy screen
Open your phone Settings and clear the app cache where Android allows it. If Buy or Sell still spins or your sends stay pending after an update, delete the app and reinstall it from the App Store or Google Play, then log in again.
Check holds and finish ID verification
Review your Portfolio history and activity for holds or ID checks that block trades. Because a single failed verification can freeze withdrawals while prices still load, open the help centre from the app menu and follow the support prompts to submit a request.

What happens when Coinbase goes down

Coinbase is a cryptocurrency exchange where you buy, sell, send, and hold digital assets through its mobile app and website, and traders and everyday holders rely on it for fast access to their accounts. An outage interrupts portfolio checks, order placement, sending crypto, and bank transfers.

During an outage, the first thing you notice is often a login that hangs or a portfolio balance that will not load. If you get past that, prices may stop refreshing, buy and sell orders can fail at the confirmation step, crypto transfers might sit pending, and the price chart may freeze on an old quote. Cash outs and bank deposits tend to break next because they depend on outside systems; a bank transfer may be declined while your balance still shows the funds. Problems are often partial: the mobile app can fail while the website works, or one payment method may be down for some regions and not others.
