  1. Reset dates and search filters

    Tap the search bar and re-enter your check-in date plus guest count because blank values keep the Explore feed spinning with blank cards for you. Then tap Clear all.

  2. Close Trips and update app

    You swipe up from the bottom of your phone and swipe the app preview away to kill a stuck Trips or Inbox screen. Open App Store and tap Update beside the app listing.

  3. Sign out to resync reservations

    If your Inbox stays empty or checkout stalls, tap Profile and choose Log out. Close the app, then log back in.

  4. Delete app or try browser checkout

    Delete the app from your phone then reinstall from App Store or Play Store to clear corrupt trip data. Test checkout in a desktop browser too.

Is Airbnb down right now?

Why does Airbnb say my payment could not be processed?
A declined card is the usual cause, but the same message can appear when your bank blocks the charge or the payment step times out. Check the card details and remove and re-add the payment method. Contact your bank if the charge still fails, and check the booking dates because the app may drop the payment attempt before it reaches your bank.

Why can't I sign in to my Airbnb account?
