How to fix Google AppSheet not working

    Tap Sync. If your edits hang on 'Syncing app' with no progress, tap the circular arrow at the top of the app to push the queue because a stalled upload often clears after one forced pass.

  2. Re-link the AppSheet Google Sheet

    Open the source Google Sheet in Drive. You fix 'Unable to fetch data' hangs when you confirm you can edit the Sheet, then reopen the app with the same Google account because access drops after a password change.

  3. Clear AppSheet cache on Android

    Your saved apps stay put. Go to Settings > Apps > AppSheet > Storage > Clear Cache because temp data often blocks the app on the white load screen, then force stop the app and open it fresh.

  4. Regenerate the AppSheet table schema

    If new Sheet columns miss, open the editor, go to Data, pick the table and click Regenerate Schema. Save then test sync.

Is Google AppSheet down right now?

If the reading looks normal, the fault is probably local: check Google's official status page at https://www.google.com/appsstatus/dashboard/, sign out and back in, and try the app on cellular data instead of wifi. A stale sign-in or a saved form that never synced will look like an outage to you while the app works fine for everyone else.

My AppSheet app is stuck on 'Syncing' and never finishes. What should I do?
A sync that hangs usually means the device cannot reach the data source, or a query against a large table is taking too long. Force a sync from the app menu, and switch between wifi and cellular to see if the stall follows the network. If one phone hangs while a colleague's device syncs fine, the problem is on your end. With a Google Sheets source, confirm the file still exists and your account still has edit access, because a moved or renamed sheet breaks the app for everyone.

AppSheet says 'Unable to add row' when I submit a form. Why?
That message usually means the signed-in account cannot write to the source table, or a required column came through empty. Check the sharing on the underlying file, since view-only access to a Google Sheet stops writes for everyone using it. If just one table fails, look at its key column: a duplicate or blank key rejects the insert.

Why did my AppSheet bot stop sending emails?
Bots run on Google's servers under the app owner's account, so they fail when that account loses access to the data or the app is not deployed. Open the Monitor tab in the editor to see whether the run happened at all and what it reported. A bot that fires on a data change also needs the change to reach the server, which is why edits made offline only trigger it after a sync.

Why can't someone open the AppSheet app I shared with them?
Sharing is set per app and per account, so a person signed in with a different Google account than the one you added gets an access error. If the app is not deployed, only you and any test users can open it, which explains a link that works for you and nobody else. Have them sign out, sign in with the right account, and open the link again. Domain-restricted apps also reject personal Gmail addresses.
