Open Etsy in a private window
Use Chrome's Incognito window (Ctrl+Shift+N on Windows, Command+Shift+N on Mac) or Firefox's Private Browsing window (Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows, Command+Shift+P on Mac), then sign in and repeat the action. A clean result points to an extension or a bad cookie. If the same error appears there, the problem sits in the app or your account rather than the browser.
Clear the Etsy app data
On iPhone, open Settings > General > iPhone Storage, tap the app, then Offload App, and reinstall from the App Store. On Android, open Settings > Apps > Etsy > Storage & cache, then tap Clear cache and Clear storage, and sign in again. That wipes local app data.
