Pokemon TCG outages and problems
In the past 24 hours, 10 user reports came in for Pokemon TCG. Counting only the 15-minute windows with a spike big enough to count as an outage, that comes to 100.00% uptime for the day.
The busiest 15-minute window had 3 reports, about 4 hours ago. That stays below our outage threshold, so it doesn't count as downtime.

How to fix Pokemon TCG not working
Pokemon TCG is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:
Your browser tries to reach tcg.pokemon.com over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.
Force close Pokemon TCG Live
Swipe the app away from the recent apps list, then open it again from your home screen. A stuck login screen or frozen collection screen often clears without touching your account.
Clear Pokemon TCG Live cache on Android
Open Settings > Apps > Pokemon TCG Live > Storage, then tap Clear cache. Leave Clear data alone unless you want to sign in again, because it wipes local account data.
Update Pokemon TCG Live
Open the App Store or Google Play, go to the app's store page, and install any pending update. An old build can fail at sign-in or hang on the loading screen after a server change.
Reinstall Pokemon TCG Live
Delete the app, reinstall it from the App Store or Google Play, then sign in again. Check that you know your login before you delete anything, because a corrupted install can crash at launch or stall on the title screen.
While Pokemon TCG is down: what to use instead
- Pokemon TCG Live The official digital client runs on phones and desktops, so you can still get a match in when the app you were using won't load.
- Paper decks A real deck on the table needs no sign in, and the game plays the same while the servers sort themselves out.
- Play! Pokemon events at local shops These run on paper cards, so a login problem on your phone doesn't stop the round.
- Pokemon TCG Pocket A separate mobile game with shorter matches; handy when you want a quick game and the main app is not loading.
What happens when Pokemon TCG goes down
Pokemon TCG is the digital version of the card game, and collectors plus competitive players rely on it for deck building and matches on mobile and desktop. An outage interrupts those matches and the collection screens you use to manage cards.
Login and matchmaking tend to fail first, so you may reach the home screen and then get stuck on a connection message before a match starts. Deck editing and collection screens can stall or fail to save changes, which leaves you unable to swap cards or check your collection. Battles drop. A match in progress may disconnect and refuse to reconnect, and code redemption or shop pages can time out; problems can hit a single region or platform first, so a report spike can mean a partial outage or a regional problem.

How we track Pokemon TCG
The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for Pokemon TCG, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for Pokemon TCG, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.
When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. Pokemon TCG doesn't publish a public status page that we know of, so user reports are often the quickest sign that something is wrong on their side.
