DMDC outages and problems
In the past 24 hours, 97 user reports came in for DMDC. Counting only the 15-minute windows with a spike big enough to count as an outage, that comes to 100.00% uptime for the day.
The busiest 15-minute window had 10 reports, about 24 hours ago. That stays below our outage threshold, so it doesn't count as downtime.

How to fix DMDC not working
DMDC is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:
Your browser tries to reach myaccess.dmdc.osd.mil over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.
Reload and restart
Reload the page (Ctrl+F5, or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac), or fully close the app and open it again.
Try another connection
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If it works on one and not the other, the problem is your network, not DMDC.
Update the app
Install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. Old versions can stop connecting after a server-side change.
While DMDC is down: what to use instead
- milConnect When you need personnel or DEERS records and the main DMDC page will not load, milConnect is the self-service route to try.
- DFAS myPay For pay, leave, or tax statements, DFAS myPay is the direct self-service site many DoD employees already use.
- RAPIDS ID card office If you need a new ID card or a DEERS record correction, a staffed RAPIDS office can handle it in person while the online route is unavailable.
- Unit personnel office For orders, record corrections, or account access issues, your unit admin or personnel office can start the same request through internal channels.
Problems at the same time as DMDC
Since 27 October, all 2 of DMDC's spikes in problem reports overlapped a spike at another service.
When several services get problem reports at once, something they share, such as a cloud host or a network, can be the real cause. Matching times alone do not prove it.

How we track DMDC
The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for DMDC, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for DMDC, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.
When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. DMDC doesn't publish a public status page that we know of, so user reports are often the quickest sign that something is wrong on their side.
