How to fix Pingdom not working
Pingdom is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Check Pingdom status then hard reload
Open https://status.pingdom.com in a new tab to see if the service has an incident, because login failures or blank panels often reflect that shared outage. Close every dashboard tab. Then hold Ctrl + Shift + R to hard reload before you sign in again.
Re-login to My Pingdom without extensions
If you can reach the status page yet My Pingdom rejects your password or loops at login, an extension or stale cookie blocks you. Press Ctrl + Shift + N to test login.
Open your uptime check and retest
You get false downs when the check URL redirects or the target blocks probes, so open Uptime in My Pingdom to review that target. Select your check and press Test.
Allowlist probe IPs at your firewall
Your site loads for you while Pingdom marks it down from all locations; your firewall or rate limit drops its probes. Ask your host to allow probe traffic on TCP ports 80 and 443 before you resume the check.

What happens when Pingdom goes down
Pingdom is a website monitoring and performance service that checks uptime, page speed, and transactions for sites and apps. Teams and site owners rely on it to catch failures and slowdowns, so an outage interrupts dashboards, check results, alerting, and the reports you use to prove a site is healthy.
The dashboard and sign-in tend to break first, and check results stop updating for some or all targets. Alerting may fire late or not at all, so you miss a real site failure while you try to confirm whether the problem is on your end. Reports and the API can return errors or time out, and synthetic checks may show gaps instead of fresh data. Problems are often partial: one region may see login failures while another can still load the dashboard, and some accounts keep working when others do not.
