How to fix Indiegogo not working
Indiegogo is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:
Reload the contribution page
A stalled campaign page or payment box often clears with a plain reload. Press Ctrl+R on Windows or Command+R on a Mac, then submit again. If it hangs a second time, open the same page in a private window so old cookies and cached files stay out of the way.
Sign out and back in
Session tokens go stale, and the app can look broken when the account behind it is. Open your account menu, sign out, then sign in with the same email and password. If you signed up through Google or Facebook, use those buttons again rather than typing credentials.
Clear site data for Indiegogo
In Chrome, open the three-dot menu, go to Delete browsing data, and clear cookies and cached files. Choose a time range that covers your last visit, because a full wipe signs you out of everything else. Firefox keeps the same controls under Privacy and Security, and Safari under Manage Website Data.
Try another device, then ask support
If a contribution fails on your phone but goes through in a desktop browser, the fault is with the app install, so update it or reinstall it. When two devices show the same failure, open the help centre at https://support.indiegogo.com and include the campaign name plus the exact wording of the message you see.

What happens when Indiegogo goes down
Indiegogo is a crowdfunding platform. Creators and backers rely on it for campaign pages and contribution checkout, so an outage stops payments and leaves updates unseen.
Payment processing tends to fail first, so a campaign page may load fine while the contribution button spins and then drops you with a generic error. Sign-in can loop back to the login screen, and the app sometimes shows a blank dashboard or stalls on refresh. Perks and contribution receipts may not appear, while comments and updates post late or disappear until the service recovers. Problems can be partial, because one payment route or one region can fail while campaign browsing still works, so not every backer gets blocked.
