Nespresso outages and problems
In the past 24 hours, 1 user report came in for Nespresso. Counting only the 15-minute windows with a spike big enough to count as an outage, that comes to 100.00% uptime for the day.
The busiest 15-minute window had 1 report, about 4 hours ago. That stays below our outage threshold, so it doesn't count as downtime.

How to fix Nespresso not working
Nespresso is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:
Check Nespresso reports
Look at the top of this page. It shows whether problem reports for the service are above their usual level. If they are, the outage is likely wider than your connection; if they are normal, move on.
Force close the Nespresso app
Close the app fully, then open it again. On iPhone, swipe up from the bottom and flick the app away; on Android, open Recents and swipe it off the screen.
Switch networks
Switch to cellular data. If the app loads there but fails on your home Wi-Fi, your router or DNS is the problem; reboot the router before you reinstall anything.
Reinstall the Nespresso app
On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Nespresso > Storage > Clear cache; if that fails, tap Clear storage or Clear data, then sign back in. On iPhone, offload the app from Settings > General > iPhone Storage, then reinstall it from the App Store. If it still fails, use the help centre.
While Nespresso is down: what to use instead
- Website in a browser When the app keeps logging you out or freezes on the basket, open the website on a laptop and sign in with the same account, because your saved address and payment card carry over.
- Boutique or store counter Need capsules today? A boutique or shop counter can sell them to you in person while online checkout fails.
- Phone line via the help centre The customer service page at https://www.nespresso.com/us/en/customer-service lists contact options for your country, and an agent on the phone can check a delivery or take an order if the site won't let you pay.
- Compatible supermarket pods If your machine is from the Original line, pods from brands like L'OR fit it and most grocery stores stock them; Vertuo machines only accept Vertuo capsules, so this won't help you there.
Fix Nespresso on Windows, Mac, Android and iPhone
Nespresso on Windows
- Fix
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies, or try accessing the Nespresso website in an incognito window. Disabling browser extensions like ad-blockers or VPNs can also resolve checkout and loading issues.
- Check
- Check if the Nespresso website loads on a different browser or device to rule out local issues. If you receive a 500-series server error, the Nespresso website is likely experiencing an outage.
ping nespresso.comTest whether Nespresso's servers replynslookup nespresso.comCheck that Nespresso's DNS resolvestracert nespresso.comTrace where the connection dropsipconfig /flushdnsClear the DNS cache, then reloadNespresso on Mac
- Fix
- Clear your Safari or Chrome browsing history and temporary data to resolve Nespresso website loading issues. You can also try switching to a different network, such as a mobile hotspot, to bypass local DNS blockages.
- Check
- Attempt to open the Nespresso website in an alternative browser on your Mac. If the page fails to load across multiple browsers and networks, Nespresso is likely experiencing a server-side issue.
ping -c 4 nespresso.comTest whether Nespresso's servers replynslookup nespresso.comCheck that Nespresso's DNS resolvestraceroute nespresso.comTrace where the connection dropssudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponderFlush the macOS DNS cache, then reloadNespresso on Android
- Fix
- Force stop the Nespresso app in your device settings and clear the app's cache. If issues persist, check the Google Play Store for an update or reinstall the app.
- Check
- Open the Nespresso app and look for persistent connection timeout errors or failed product loads. You can also try accessing the Nespresso website via a mobile browser to see if the outage is app-specific.
Nespresso on iPhone and iPad
- Fix
- Force close the Nespresso app from the App Switcher and check the App Store for any pending updates. If using Safari to order, clear your history and website data in your iOS settings.
- Check
- Watch for 'connection failed' or 'server unavailable' alerts within the Nespresso iOS app. Try loading the Nespresso website on Safari to confirm if the entire service is down.
What happens when Nespresso goes down
Nespresso is a coffee brand with machines, capsules, apps, and a website for ordering capsules and managing subscriptions. People who rely on the app or site for daily orders and account changes lose those tasks when an outage hits, and you may be unable to buy capsules or reach the help centre.
During an outage, login and account pages often stall first, so you may tap sign in and get a spinner or a generic error instead of your order history. Capsule ordering and subscription changes fail next; the cart empties or a payment screen rejects a card that works on other sites. Order tracking and machine support may load with delays or show stale information. These problems are often partial or regional, so your account may be fine while checkout, a country site, order tracking, or the app is broken for others.

How we track Nespresso
The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for Nespresso, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for Nespresso, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.
When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. Nespresso doesn't publish a public status page that we know of, so user reports are often the quickest sign that something is wrong on their side.
