How to fix Suno not working

Suno is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Your browser tries to reach suno.ai over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.

  1. Reload the Create page

    A song stuck on the loading spinner for several minutes has often finished on the server, so refresh the page or close and reopen the app before you try again. Check your Library first. A second attempt uses more credits if the first one went through.

  2. Check your credit balance

    Generation fails once your credits run out, even though playback and your Library keep loading. Look at the remaining balance in the left sidebar of the web app; if it shows zero, that explains the songs that won't start.

  3. Sign in with your original method

    An empty Library after logging in usually means you picked a different sign-in option than last time, which can open a separate account. Sign out, then sign back in with the method you first used, such as Google or Discord. Your songs should come back.

  4. Clear browser data or reinstall the app

    In Chrome or Edge, press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Cmd+Shift+Delete on a Mac) and clear cookies and cached images. Pause any ad blocker for the site too. On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Suno > Storage and tap Clear cache; on iPhone, delete the app and reinstall it from the App Store.

What happens when Suno goes down

Suno is an AI music generator that turns a short prompt or your own lyrics into a full song with vocals. Hobbyists and video creators use it on the web and in the mobile apps, so an outage stops new songs from generating and can also keep you out of the library where your earlier tracks live.

Generation usually breaks first: you press Create and the new clips sit on a spinning placeholder for minutes, or they fail with a message that something went wrong, so check your credit balance afterwards. Playback can stall too. Even when the page loads, your library may show tracks that won't play, and downloads can fail partway through. Problems are often partial, hitting song creation while browsing still works or the website while the phone app holds up, so note which feature fails for you before assuming the whole service is down.

Is Suno down right now?

Open the web app in a private window while on mobile data, because a clean session rules out a stale login or a blocking extension. If one device works and the other fails, sign out there and clear its site data.

Why are my songs stuck on generating and never finish?
Long queues are the usual cause, and they build up fast when a new model version launches and a lot of people try it in the same hour. Refresh your library before you press Create again, because the clips may have finished while the page sat idle. After 10 to 15 minutes with no result, check your credits and retry once. Repeated clicking makes the queue worse.

Why does Suno reject my style prompt or lyrics?
Naming a real artist in the style box or pasting lyrics from a published song is the most common trigger, and the app will block the generation when it spots either one. Describe the sound instead: genre, tempo, instruments, a mood. Lyrics you wrote yourself go through fine, though the lyrics box has a length limit, so trim long songs if they get refused.

Why is my Suno library empty after I signed in on the phone app?
You probably signed in with a different method than last time, for example Apple on your phone and Google on the web, which gives you a separate account with no songs in it. Sign out and use the exact login you first used. Your songs and credits stay tied to that original account, so check the profile name before you start generating again.

Why won't my songs play or download?
Playback that sits at 0:00 or a download button that does nothing usually points to your browser. Ad blockers and privacy extensions can stop the audio from loading, so disable them for the site and reload. On iPhone or Android, update the app first. If a single track fails while the rest of your library plays, that clip may still be processing, and it should work once you give it a few minutes.
