Update the app
Install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. Old versions can stop connecting after a server-side change.
While Wire 3 is down: what to use instead
- Mobile hotspot Switch your laptop or tablet to your phone's hotspot if you have mobile data to spare; it keeps basic browsing and email going while the connection is out.
- Public Wi-Fi Use a library or cafe network to send a file or join a call; test it before you log into anything private.
- Phone data Use your phone's cellular connection for messages and maps if the service is out; turn off Wi-Fi so your phone stops trying the dead link.
- Guest Wi-Fi Borrow a guest Wi-Fi network for a quick task, and skip sensitive logins.
