What happens when HDFC Bank goes down
HDFC Bank is an Indian private-sector bank, and its app, NetBanking, cards and UPI access handle everyday payments, salary credits, bill pay and transfers for individuals and businesses. When the service falters, you lose the quick path to check balances, move money and pay at a till or online.
Login often breaks first. The app can hang at the password or OTP step, so you cannot see balances or start a transfer. UPI payments fail at the merchant, NetBanking sessions drop before you approve a transfer, card payments may decline, and ATM withdrawals can fail after the card is read.
