Troubleshooting

How to fix EVRi not working

EVRi is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Your browser tries to reach evri.com over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.

  1. Check the EVRi report level

Read the report level at the top of this page before you change any settings. It shows whether problem reports for the service are above their usual level, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. A clear spike points to a wider outage, so wait and retry later; a normal level means the fault is more likely at your end.

  2. Try EVRi in a private window

Open the site in a private or incognito window, then sign in and load the tracking page again. A stale cookie or a browser extension can break the page while other sites work; if the page loads there, clear the site's cookies and data in your normal browser before you retry.

  3. Restart the EVRi app

Close the app from your recents screen, open it again, and retry tracking. If it still stalls, go to Settings > Apps > EVRi > Storage & cache > Clear cache on Android. Do not clear storage unless you can sign in again.

  4. Reinstall the EVRi app

Uninstall the app, restart your phone, then install it again from the App Store or Google Play. Sign in and test one tracking number before you add more. If the website also fails on another device, wait for the service to recover rather than changing more phone settings.

While EVRi is down: what to use instead

  • Royal Mail Use it to send a parcel through a Post Office or postbox when the app will not load and you need a carrier that is not tied to the service.
  • DPD Pick this for parcel drop-off at a shop or locker when you need to get a parcel moving and the usual service is unavailable.
  • UPS Choose this for a counter drop-off or collection if you need to send something urgent and cannot wait for the app to come back.
  • Retailer order page Check the shop's own order tracking first if you are waiting on a delivery, because the retailer often has the latest scan and can raise a case for you.
About

What happens when EVRi goes down

EVRi is a UK parcel delivery service. Online shoppers and small sellers rely on it for tracking, label printing, parcel shop drop-off and delivery notifications, so an outage interrupts those steps.

Tracking wobbles first: scans go missing and the delivery estimate sticks on an old step. Label printing can fail too, so you cannot hand a parcel over at a shop even when the shop is open. Outages are often partial. One depot or route can lag while another works, and the status at the top only shows whether problem reports are above their usual level, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours; it does not ping, probe, poll or monitor, and never checks from multiple locations.

Questions

EVRi FAQ

Is EVRi down right now?

The status at the top of this page shows whether problem reports for EVRi are above their usual level, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. It does not ping or probe the service; it reads report volume. To see if the fault is on your side, switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data and try a second device; if the app fails while other sites load, the problem is likely local.

Why does the EVRi tracking page say it cannot find my parcel?

That message usually means the reference has not been scanned into the network yet, or the number was mistyped. Check the reference from your confirmation email and give it a day for the first scan; if the sender just printed the label, tracking may have nothing to show.

Why does my EVRi tracking stay unchanged after I drop a parcel at a ParcelShop?

The shop scan starts tracking, but updates can lag while the parcel moves to a depot. Keep the drop-off receipt and check the tracking reference from your label; if nothing changes after the shop scan, ask the shop or sender to confirm the handover.

Why does the EVRi app log me out or fail to show my parcels?

The app can log you out after an update or if the session is stale. Force close it and sign in again with the same email; if your parcels vanish but the tracking page works, the account view is the likely cause.

What should I do if EVRi says my parcel was delivered but I do not have it?

Check the proof of delivery photo and any note about a safe place or neighbour first. Look around the property and ask neighbours, then contact the seller or the courier with the reference; if you have checked those drop points, ask the sender to start a claim.

How we track EVRi

The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for EVRi, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for EVRi, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.

When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. EVRi doesn't publish a public status page that we know of, so user reports are often the quickest sign that something is wrong on their side.
