Reload and restart
Reload the page (Ctrl+F5, or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac), or fully close the app and open it again.
Try another connection
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If it works on one and not the other, the problem is your network, not ESPN Plus.
Update the app
Install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. Old versions can stop connecting after a server-side change.
While ESPN Plus is down: what to use instead
- Browser player Open the web player in a browser when the phone app hangs on sign-in.
- TV provider feed Watch the same game on an ESPN network through your TV provider when that network carries it and the app will not load.
- League app Use the league's own app for a specific out-of-market game if the service's playback fails.
- Live TV package Try a live TV package that carries ESPN or ESPN2 when the event also airs there and your provider login works.
