Reinstall and reset network settings
Uninstall the app and restart your device. Install the current version again from the official site or store, and on Windows open Device Manager to remove any leftover Windscribe network adapter under Network adapters before you reinstall.

Windscribe VPN is a VPN service with desktop apps, mobile apps, browser extensions, and router setups. People rely on it for encrypted browsing, IP masking, blocked-site access, and its R.O.B.E.R.T. filter, so an outage interrupts normal web use on devices that route all traffic through the tunnel, plus streaming and ad blocking.

When the service has trouble, the app often drops its tunnel or hangs on connecting, while the server list stalls or does not load. If the app disconnects, your normal connection may still work, but anything routed through the VPN stops: browser extensions lose their proxy, R.O.B.E.R.T. filtering quits, Windflix streams stop bypassing geo-blocks, and port forwarding rules stop passing traffic.
