How to fix Squarespace not working

Squarespace is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Your browser tries to reach squarespace.com over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.

Hard refresh the editor tab
A stale tab is the usual reason the editor stops saving or a panel hangs on a spinner. Press Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac, then reopen the page in a private window to rule out cached files. Copy any text you have typed into a block first, since an unsaved draft may not survive the reload.
Read the official status page
Open status.squarespace.com and look for an open incident on saving, publishing, or the admin panel. The company posts there when a fault sits on its side, and no change in your browser will fix that. Hold off on rebuilding a page that was never broken.
Remove custom code and browser extensions
Switch off every extension, then reload the editor; ad blockers and script managers break the block toolbar in ways that look like a platform fault. If only the published site misbehaves, delete the snippets under Settings > Advanced > Code Injection and republish to see whether a third-party script is at fault.
Check the domain under Settings > Domains
Open Settings > Domains and confirm the domain reads as connected, with nameservers pointed at Squarespace if you registered it there. A domain with a wrong DNS record sends visitors to a parked page or a page not found screen while your editor still loads fine. When the panel shows a connection error you cannot clear, send the details to the team through support.squarespace.com.

Why can't I log in to my Squarespace account after resetting my password?

A failed login after a password reset often comes from an old reset link or a browser autofill entry, so paste the newest link from your email and type the password by hand. Why does the Squarespace app fail to upload images from my phone?

Uploads from the phone app can stall when the photo library permission is off or the connection drops mid-transfer.
