Join from a phone hotspot
Join the same server from a phone on mobile data, or from another device on a different network. If that works, the fault sits in your local network or game client. If it fails the same way, the server panel is the next place to look.
Restart the server from the dashboard
Open the server in the G-Portal dashboard and use the restart control. If it stays offline, stop it, wait a few seconds, then start it again. Watch the console for startup errors.
Check the join address and version
Copy the connection address and port from the server dashboard into the game's direct connect field, then confirm the game client matches the server version. Check the whitelist and ban list in the panel. A changed password or a new mod can block one player while others get in.

What happens when G-Portal goes down
G-Portal is a game server hosting service that players and small communities use to run and manage online game worlds. An outage cuts off your control panel and the server startup your group needs.
Your first sign is usually the web control panel failing to load or rejecting a login; after that, restarts and file edits stall, and the game server may refuse new connections. Check the game first. A running world can stay playable while the panel is down, and trouble is often partial or regional: a data center can have trouble while another runs, and the login path can fail while a hosted world stays reachable. If your server is offline and the panel will not respond, wait for the status reports to settle before you rebuild anything.
