Open Evard in a private window
Try a private window. If the service loads there, your main browser profile is the problem; if it fails there too, open a second browser you already have installed. That split points at cookies or an extension.
Clear Evard cookies and cached files
Clear the site data. In your browser settings, find evard.ch in the site data list and delete its cookies and cached files. Close every tab for the service, then sign in again; a stale login cookie often causes a blank page or a redirect loop when you try to reach your account.
Restart router and change DNS for Evard

Evard on iPhone and iPad
- Fix
- Fix Evard connectivity on iOS by restarting your iPhone or iPad and rebooting your Evard modem/router. You can also try toggling Airplane Mode or resetting your iOS network settings.
- Check
- Determine if Evard is down on iOS by checking if a 'No Internet Connection' message appears under your Evard Wi-Fi network. Try loading a website in Safari with mobile data turned off.
What happens when Evard goes down
Evard is a Swiss energy provider that runs the electricity grid and publishes network status updates for its service area. When its website goes down, you cannot check the official status page or confirm whether a power problem is local; a grid outage itself leaves homes and businesses without electricity.
The first sign is the official status page not loading or timing out, and the main site often fails the same way. If the grid itself is down, your lights flicker and go out, and your heating stops. Your router drops, and your fridge cycles off. These problems are often regional: one town or a few streets lose power while the rest of the service area stays up.
