How to fix Ticketmaster not working
Ticketmaster is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:
Your browser tries to reach ticketmaster.com over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.
Check the Ticketmaster report level
The status at the top of this page shows whether user problem reports for Ticketmaster are above their usual level, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. If reports are not elevated, the trouble is likely on your side; the site does not ping or monitor the service.
Force quit and reopen Ticketmaster
On iPhone, open the app switcher and swipe the app card up; on Android, open Settings > Apps > See all apps > Ticketmaster > Force stop. Open it again and try the same event page.
Clear Ticketmaster site data
For Safari on iPhone, go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. On Android, open Settings > Apps > See all apps > Ticketmaster > Storage & cache > Clear cache; clear data only if you can sign in again.
Update Ticketmaster and restart the phone
Open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then tap Update All; on Android, open Google Play, tap your profile icon, then Manage apps & device > Updates available. Restart the phone after the install finishes.
While Ticketmaster is down: what to use instead
- Venue box office The venue's box office can reissue or print a ticket and finish a purchase the app stalls on, which helps when your mobile ticket won't load at the gate.
- SeatGeek SeatGeek sells seats for many tours and games, so check it when the event you want is listed there and the app won't complete checkout.
- StubHub StubHub is a resale market, and it helps when a show sells out or you need a seat after the primary sale ends.
- Website in a browser Open the site in a browser instead of the app; the web version often shows a mobile ticket or finishes an order when the app hangs.
Problems at the same time as Ticketmaster
Since 27 October, Ticketmaster's only spike in problem reports overlapped a spike at another service.
When several services get problem reports at once, something they share, such as a cloud host or a network, can be the real cause. Matching times alone do not prove it.

What happens when Ticketmaster goes down
Ticketmaster is a ticketing service for concerts, sports, theater, and comedy, used by fans and venues to buy seats and get into shows. An outage interrupts searches, seat maps, checkout, and mobile entry; the status at the top shows whether user problem reports are above their usual level in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours, and the page does not ping the service or check from multiple locations.
During an outage, event search and seat maps often slow down or fail first, so a listing page opens while the seat picker stalls or returns "Something went wrong." Checkout can hang after payment details are entered, and mobile tickets may not refresh at the gate. That leaves a barcode screen spinning or a session that has expired. Problems are usually partial, tied to one event or payment step, and a regional network issue can make the app look down in one area while it works in another.

How we track Ticketmaster
The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for Ticketmaster, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for Ticketmaster, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.
When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. Ticketmaster doesn't publish a public status page that we know of, so user reports are often the quickest sign that something is wrong on their side.
