How to fix Tencent Cloud not working

Check Tencent Cloud report levels
Look at the report level at the top of this page for the product or region you use. If reports sit above their usual level, wait and retry later; if they look normal, the fault is more likely on your network or account.
Rule out your network path
Switch from Wi-Fi to a mobile hotspot and turn off any VPN or proxy, then load the console again. If the console opens on the hotspot, your office or home network is blocking the console or API endpoints.
Check region and CAM permissions
Use the region selector in the console header to match the region that holds your instance or bucket. A sub-account or role can sign in and still lack permission for a product, so review the policies attached to it in the CAM console. Test with a different account only long enough to see whether access changes.
Review security group rules
For an unreachable CVM instance, open the security group attached to it in the CVM console and check the inbound rules for the port you need and your current public IP. A missing rule or a source set to a different address range drops the connection before the service sees it. Add a narrow rule for your IP, test, then remove it when done.

Tencent Cloud on Android

Fix: If the Tencent Cloud app is not working on Android, clear the app's cache in your system settings or reinstall it from the Google Play Store. Make sure the app has permission to use mobile data and Wi-Fi.

Tencent Cloud is a public cloud platform for compute, storage, databases and networking, and developers and businesses across Asia build apps and sites on it. An outage interrupts the APIs and data access that those apps depend on.

Requests to a hosted app stall or fail at the gateway, and API calls drop with connection timed out. Object storage uploads and downloads stop while database connections pile up and queries time out. A single region or service tends to break first: one availability zone or a CDN edge. Is Tencent Cloud down right now?

The status at the top of this page counts user problem reports for the service in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours and shows whether those reports sit above their usual level. It does not ping or probe anything itself, so read it as a signal from other people rather than a measurement. The provider's own view lives on the official status page. To work out whether the trouble is only on your side, open an unrelated site on the same connection, try the console from a different network such as mobile data, and see whether one product or region fails while the rest load fine.

My CVM instance says running but SSH keeps timing out. What should I check first?

Start with the security group attached to that instance, because a missing inbound rule for port 22 will drop every connection while the machine itself stays healthy. Confirm the instance still holds a public or elastic IP, then look at whether the guest firewall or a full disk is stopping the SSH daemon from answering. If the console's VNC login also hangs, the problem sits inside the instance rather than on the network path.

Why does the console refuse my login when the password is correct?

A wrong or drifting code from your MFA app will fail the login before the password is ever judged, so check the clock on the phone that generates it. Sub-accounts created through CAM may lack console permissions even though their API keys work fine, which looks like a broken login. Try the root account once; if that gets in, the restriction is on the sub-account and an admin can adjust it.

Why does an instance in Singapore or Frankfurt feel slower than one at home?

Distance adds round-trip time that no configuration removes, so a Frankfurt CVM will always feel heavier from Asia than a local one. Put a CDN in front of static content and keep chatty calls between services inside the same region. If only some requests crawl while others fly, look at DNS resolution and at the origin server's own load before blaming the region.

Did my account get suspended, or is the service having an outage?

When the balance goes negative, Tencent Cloud stops instances after a grace period and the console starts refusing actions that used to work, which many people read as an outage. Open the billing section and look for arrears or an unpaid order before you dig into network settings. A failed real-name verification can also block new purchases and some console features while existing servers keep running.
