How to fix Iliad not working

Iliad is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Your browser tries to reach iliad.it over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.

Refresh the Iliad line
Turn Airplane Mode on for 10 seconds, then turn it off. On iPhone use Control Center or Settings > Airplane Mode; on Android use Quick Settings or Settings > Network & internet > Airplane mode.
Select the Iliad SIM
If your phone has two SIMs, pick the line for mobile data. On iPhone go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data; on Samsung go to Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Mobile data.
Set APN to iliad
Use this when the phone shows signal but pages do not load on mobile data. On iPhone go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network > Cellular Data, then set APN to iliad and leave Username and Password empty. On Android go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > [Iliad] > Access Point Names, then create or select an APN with APN set to iliad.
Reset mobile network settings
Save Wi-Fi passwords first, because this reset can remove saved networks and Bluetooth pairings. On iPhone go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. On Samsung go to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset mobile network settings, then restart the phone.

While Iliad is down: what to use instead

Wi-Fi apps If mobile data is the part failing, join a trusted Wi-Fi network and use WhatsApp or Telegram for messages and calls.
Another mobile line A spare SIM or eSIM from TIM, Vodafone, WINDTRE, or Fastweb helps when you need calls or data away from Wi-Fi.

What happens when Iliad goes down

Iliad is a telecom provider in Italy with mobile service, eSIM support, and Iliadbox fiber for home internet. People rely on it for calls, texts, mobile data, and home broadband, so an outage can cut off work logins, maps, card payments, and messaging.

Mobile data is often the first thing you notice: pages stall, apps stay offline, hotspot sharing stops, or the phone falls back to no service. Calls and SMS can still work during a partial fault, but they may fail with messages such as call failed or emergency calls only on the handset. For Iliadbox fiber, the home network may stay up while sites do not load, streaming buffers, video calls freeze, or the router shows no internet access. Problems are often local or regional, since one city or fixed-line area can have trouble while other customers stay online.

Is Iliad down right now?

The status at the top of this page shows whether user problem reports are above their usual level, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Those reports are sent to a public outage-reporting service; this site does not monitor the network or collect reports itself. To see if the issue is only on your side, try another device or SIM in the same area, restart the phone, and check whether Wi-Fi works while mobile data, calls, or SMS fail.

Why does my phone show "Nessun servizio" or "Solo emergenze" with my SIM?

Your phone may have lost the mobile network, or the SIM may not be registering after a restart, travel, or a coverage drop. Turn airplane mode on and off, then restart the phone and check that automatic network selection is enabled. If the same SIM fails in another unlocked phone, the problem is more likely on the line or the SIM.

Why can't I log in to the Area Personale?

The Area Personale can fail if the login page is slow, the password is wrong, or the browser keeps an old session. Try a private window, then clear cookies for iliad.it if the page keeps looping back to login. If mobile service still works, the issue may be limited to account access rather than the network.

Why is my recharge or card payment not showing on my line?

Payments can take a short time to appear in the Area Personale, especially if the bank has approved the card charge but the line balance has not refreshed. Do not repeat the same payment over and over; check your bank app and then sign out and back in. If the charge is visible at the bank but not on the line after a reasonable wait, keep the payment reference ready for support.

Why is my iliadbox fiber connection offline while mobile works?

The home fiber service and the mobile network can fail separately, so a working SIM does not rule out a fixed-line issue. Check the iliadbox lights, restart it once, and make sure the fiber cable has not been bent or pulled. If several devices can connect to Wi-Fi but none can open websites, the problem is likely past your phone or laptop.
