How to fix Htp not working

Htp is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

1. Check Htp on mobile data

   On an iPhone set to German, use Einstellungen > WLAN and switch WLAN off, then open this Htp page over mobile data. The status at the top uses user problem reports sent to a public outage-reporting service in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours; this site does not monitor the service.

2. Restart the home router

   Pull the power plug from the router, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in. If it is a FRITZ!Box, wait until Power/DSL stays on and WLAN is on before you retest htp.net.

3. Read the FRITZ!Box line page

   For a FRITZ!Box on an htp DSL line, open http://fritz.box and go to Internet > DSL-Informationen. If it says the line is not synchronized, check the TAE socket and the DSL cable before changing Wi-Fi settings.

4. Test by cable and renew DNS

   Connect a laptop to a LAN port on the router and turn off the laptop's Wi-Fi, so the test skips the wireless part. On Windows, open Terminal and run `ipconfig /flushdns`, then `ipconfig /renew`; if cable works while Wi-Fi fails, change the FRITZ!Box Wi-Fi channel under WLAN > Funkkanal.

• Telekom mobile data Use it as a hotspot if the Htp fixed line is out and you only need email or banking.
• Vodafone mobile data A second SIM or a friend’s hotspot can cover your laptop when the home router still has no working internet.
• Public Wi-Fi A library, station, café, or hotel connection helps for downloads and account changes, but avoid sensitive work unless you trust the network.
• Work or school connection Use a trusted connection there if you need a stable line for calls, uploads, or admin tasks before the service comes back.
