Troubleshooting

How to fix Crédit Agricole not working

Crédit Agricole is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Your browser tries to reach credit-agricole.fr over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.

  1. Switch networks for Crédit Agricole

Open credit-agricole.fr in the same browser and try loading the sign-in page again. On iPhone, go to Settings > Wi-Fi, turn Wi-Fi off, then test on mobile data; on Android, go to Settings > Network and internet > Internet and switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.

  2. Restart Ma Banque

Close the Ma Banque app and open it again before you retry account access or a SécuriPass approval. On Android, use Settings > Apps > Ma Banque > Force stop; on iPhone, open the app switcher and swipe Ma Banque up, then relaunch it.

  3. Update the bank app

An old app build can fail at login, show a blank account screen, or miss a SécuriPass prompt. On iPhone, open App Store > profile icon > Available Updates; on Android, open Play Store > profile icon > Manage apps and device > Updates available.

  4. Clear the Crédit Agricole site data

If the website loops back to login or keeps a stale page, clear its stored data and sign in again. In Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Delete browsing data; in Safari on iPhone, go to Settings > Apps > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.

While Crédit Agricole is down: what to use instead

  • credit-agricole.fr If the Ma Banque app stalls or will not sign you in, try the customer area on the website from a browser.
  • Ma Banque app If the website will not load, open the mobile app instead, because the app and site can fail separately.
  • Card or cash For purchases, use your physical bank card or cash while account screens and in-app actions are unavailable.
  • Branch or adviser If you need help with a blocked card or account access, contact your local branch or your adviser using the details you already have.
Same time

Problems at the same time as Crédit Agricole

Since 3 November, all 4 of Crédit Agricole's spikes in problem reports overlapped a spike at another service.

When several services get problem reports at once, something they share, such as a cloud host or a network, can be the real cause. Matching times alone do not prove it.

A spike is a sharp rise in problem reports from users, as the live pages showed it. Times are Central European time.

About

What happens when Crédit Agricole goes down

Crédit Agricole is a French bank and insurance group, with regional bank sites under credit-agricole.fr and the Ma Banque mobile app. People in France rely on it for account access and card management, so an outage can block balances, transfers, sign-in approvals and customer contact.

Logins tend to fail first. Even when balances still display, transfers and card controls can fail, especially if SécuriPass approval in Ma Banque never appears or will not confirm. Crédit Agricole issues can be partial because its French retail banking is split across regional banks; one regional customer area may struggle while another still works. During wider trouble, pages on credit-agricole.fr may time out and help forms can be hard to reach.

Questions

Crédit Agricole FAQ

Is Crédit Agricole down right now?

The status at the top of this page shows whether public user problem reports for Crédit Agricole are above their usual level, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. That status comes only from reports sent to a public outage-reporting service, so treat it as a signal rather than a bank notice. If it looks normal, try the app and credit-agricole.fr on another connection, then check whether only login, SécuriPass, card display, or transfers fail on your side.

Why can't I sign in to Ma Banque or Crédit Agricole en Ligne?

Start with the simple checks. Make sure your identifiant and code personnel are entered on the French site or app, then try mobile data if Wi-Fi fails. If the screen loops back to login or says the service is unavailable, wait a little before retrying because repeated attempts can leave you locked out or delayed.

Why is SécuriPass not approving my card payment or transfer?

SécuriPass depends on the Ma Banque app, your phone lock, and the device registered to your account. Open the app before you retry the payment, because the approval request can arrive late or stay hidden behind notifications. If you changed phone recently, use the bank's contact page at http://www.credit-agricole.fr/contactez-nous for the proper regional help path.

Why can I see my accounts but not make a transfer?

That usually means login is working, while the payment or transfer part is having trouble or needs extra validation. Check the beneficiary, amount, and SécuriPass prompt before you submit again. Do not keep sending the same transfer if the page freezes after confirmation; wait and check the account activity first.

Why does the app show old balances or missing card transactions?

Card authorisations and account balances can update at different times, so the app may show a payment before the full account view catches up. Pull to refresh, then compare the app with credit-agricole.fr if you can sign in there. If both show the same stale balance for a long period, the issue is probably on the service side rather than your phone.

How we track Crédit Agricole

The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for Crédit Agricole, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for Crédit Agricole, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.

When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. Crédit Agricole doesn't publish a public status page that we know of, so user reports are often the quickest sign that something is wrong on their side.
