How to fix Correios not working
Correios is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:
Your browser tries to reach correios.com.br over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.
Check the Correios code
For tracking, paste the 13 character object code exactly as the sender gave it, with no spaces before or after. For CEP lookup, type the 8 digits of the Brazilian postcode; if the page says the object is not in the base yet, try the same code later because new postings can take time to appear.
Reload the tracking page
Press Ctrl+F5 on Windows or Command+Shift+R on macOS to force a fresh copy of the page. If the form keeps spinning, turn Wi-Fi off on your phone and try mobile data, because a local DNS problem or captive portal can block the request.
Clear browser data
In Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Delete browsing data, set Time range to All time, select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, then click Delete data. Open the Correios page again and sign in only after the tracking or CEP page loads.
Reset the Correios app
On Android, open Settings > Apps > Correios > Storage or Storage and cache > Clear cache; if login or tracking still fails, tap Clear storage and sign in again. On iPhone, open Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Correios > Offload App, then install it again from the App Store.
While Correios is down: what to use instead
- Correios app If the website fails, the official app may still let you track a package or check a CEP.
- Post office branch For posting a parcel or asking about a delivery, a local agency can help when online tools are unavailable.
- Jadlog Use it for domestic parcel shipping in Brazil when you can choose a private carrier.
- DHL Express It helps most with international shipments or urgent courier delivery.
Problems at the same time as Correios
Since 3 November, all 2 of Correios's spikes in problem reports overlapped a spike at another service.
When several services get problem reports at once, something they share, such as a cloud host or a network, can be the real cause. Matching times alone do not prove it.

What happens when Correios goes down
Correios is Brazil's national postal service, used for parcel delivery, Sedex and PAC shipping, tracking, and import parcel handling. Buyers, online sellers, and people waiting on documents rely on it, so an outage can interrupt tracking updates, postage tools, app access, and import payment flows.
Tracking is usually the first thing people notice: the page may hang, show no movement for a code, or return a message that the object cannot be found. The app and Meu Correios login can also fail, which blocks saved packages and some shipment details. For imported parcels, Minhas Importações problems can stop tax or fee payment screens from loading, even when delivery work keeps moving in the background. Problems are often partial or regional, with one feature failing while another still opens, or access working from one Brazilian network but timing out on another.

Tip: Correios doesn't list a public status page that we know of, so its help centre and the report chart on this page are the best places to check.
How we track Correios
The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for Correios, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for Correios, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.
When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. Correios doesn't publish a public status page that we know of, so user reports are often the quickest sign that something is wrong on their side.
