Close the BancaNet tab, open a new private or incognito window, and go to https://www.banamex.com. If the login page hangs or returns to the start, turn off any VPN from iPhone Settings > VPN or Android Settings > Network & internet > VPN, then try again.
Restart Citibanamex Móvil
If the app spins after you enter your password, force it to close before you sign in again. On iPhone, swipe up from the bottom and hold, then swipe Citibanamex Móvil off the screen; on Android, open Settings > Apps > Citibanamex Móvil > Force stop.
Clear banamex.com data
Old cookies can break the sign in page while the rest of the site still loads. In Chrome on a computer, type chrome://settings/siteData in the address bar, search for banamex.com, and delete the matching site data; in Safari on iPhone, use Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, search for banamex, then swipe left and tap Delete.

Banamex is a Mexican bank at banamex.com with accounts, cards, payments, and online banking. Families and businesses rely on it for daily money tasks, so an outage can block app sign-in and delay transfers.

The app or BancaNet tends to show trouble first: sign-in spins, and balances do not load. Transfers through SPEI may fail before confirmation, while card and bill payment screens can time out after you approve the operation. Some incidents hit only the mobile app or BancaNet; others affect payment confirmation while public pages still open. Is Banamex down right now?

Why can't I log in to BancaNet after the security page or NetKey prompt?

BancaNet login problems often come from expired sessions, blocked cookies, or a token prompt that did not finish on time. Close every Banamex tab, clear the site data for banamex.com, and try a fresh browser session without a VPN. If the same login fails on another network and the app also stalls, the service may be having a wider issue.

Why is the Banamex mobile app stuck after I enter my password?

Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data first, because the app can hang on a weak route even when other apps load. Update the app, restart the phone, and check that the device clock is automatic; token and session checks can fail when the time is wrong. If NetKey approval never appears, open BancaNet from a browser to see if the account itself is reachable.

Why did my SPEI transfer not arrive from BancaNet?

Check Movimientos for the charge and keep the receipt or folio if the transfer left the account. A SPEI payment can be rejected or delayed by the bank, the receiving bank, a failed confirmation screen, or a wrong beneficiary detail, so avoid sending it again until you know whether it was debited. If money left and no receipt appears, contact Banamex support through the normal app or website channel.

Why can't I pay my Banamex credit card in the app?

Confirm the source account has available balance and that the card appears in your own product list. If the payment screen spins or returns to accounts, try BancaNet on a desktop browser, since app session data can break the card flow. Save the receipt after a successful payment, because account movements may take time to reflect.
