How to fix Banco Inter not working

Force close Inter
On iPhone, swipe up from the bottom, pause in the app switcher, and swipe Inter up. On Android, open Settings > Apps > Inter and tap Force stop. Reopen it and retry sign-in, Pix, or the card screen.
Update the Inter app
A pending app build can leave login or Pix stuck after the bank changes its service side. On iPhone, open App Store, tap your profile picture, pull down to refresh, and tap Update beside Inter if it appears. On Android, open Play Store, tap your profile picture > Manage apps & device > Updates available, then update Inter.
Reset Banco Inter locally
Use this after basic checks, since reinstalling a bank app can trigger device confirmation. On Android, open Settings > Apps > Inter > Storage & cache > Clear cache, then open the app before clearing storage. What happens when Banco Inter goes down

Banco Inter is a Brazilian digital bank, used through its app and website for accounts, Pix, cards, and investments. People in Brazil rely on it to pay boletos and move money; an outage can block login, balance checks, Pix payments, and card management.

During Banco Inter issues, the app may hang on sign in or show a service unavailable message, and balances may fail to load after authentication. Pix tends to be the first thing people notice because a transfer that never confirms blocks the whole payment. Boleto payment, account statements, investment screens, and card controls can also fail, but they may recover at different times across mobile and web. Boleto payments can fail if the barcode screen will not load, the due date cannot be checked, or the app loses the session during confirmation. Try scanning again with a clear camera view, then paste the typed line if scanning keeps failing. If both methods stop at confirmation, the problem is more likely on the service side than with the code itself.

Why is my Inter card being declined even though I have balance or limit?

Card declines can come from the card network, the merchant terminal, your card settings, or a temporary issue in the app that prevents you from checking status. Test a small online purchase or another terminal if you can, and look in the app for card lock, virtual card, or contactless settings once it loads. If the app also fails to show card details, wait before changing security settings or requesting a new card.
