Troubleshooting

How to fix Digi not working

Digi is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Your browser tries to reach digimobil.es over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.

  1. Refresh the Digi SIM

Turn Airplane Mode on for 10 seconds, then turn it off. On iPhone, open Settings > Cellular and check that the line is on; on Android, open Settings > Network & internet > SIMs and check that the SIM is on.

  2. Use automatic network selection

A manual network choice can leave the SIM with signal bars but no working calls or data. On iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular > Network Selection and turn on Automatic; on Android, go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs and turn on Automatically select network.

  3. Set APN internet.digimobil.es

Mobile data on Digi Spain uses the APN internet.digimobil.es. On iPhone, open Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network and put internet.digimobil.es in APN; on Android, open Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > Access Point Names, add a new APN with that value, then save and select it.

  4. Restart the fibra router

If home internet is the problem, unplug the router from power for 30 seconds. If you have a separate ONT, plug the ONT in first and wait for the fiber or PON light to settle before powering the router; then test a computer by Ethernet so you can tell Wi-Fi trouble from a line fault.

While Digi is down: what to use instead

  • Wi-Fi If mobile data is failing, connect to home, work, or public Wi-Fi so messaging, email, and banking apps can keep working.
  • Customer area on the website If the Mi DIGI app will not load, try the account area in a browser for line details and basic account tasks.
  • Help centre Use the Digi help centre if you need to report a billing or service issue while the app is unavailable.
  • Second SIM or another operator A spare SIM from Movistar, Orange, or Vodafone can cover calls and data if you need service before the fault clears.
Same time

Problems at the same time as Digi

Since 3 November, all 8 of Digi's spikes in problem reports overlapped a spike at another service.

When several services get problem reports at once, something they share, such as a cloud host or a network, can be the real cause. Matching times alone do not prove it.

A spike is a sharp rise in problem reports from users, as the live pages showed it. Times are Central European time.

About

What happens when Digi goes down

Digi is a telecom service in Spain with mobile lines and home fibre under digimobil.es. An outage can cut calls, data, and home internet.

Mobile trouble often shows up first as no data, failed calls, delayed texts, or a phone stuck on no service. Fibre faults feel different. Your router may stay powered while pages time out, or Wi-Fi works inside the flat without reaching the internet. Digi problems can be regional or limited to one part of the service, so the Mi DIGI app may load while mobile data fails, and broadband can be down while calls still work.

Questions

Digi FAQ

Is Digi down right now?

The status at the top of this page shows whether user problem reports for Digi are above their usual level, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Those reports go to a public outage-reporting service; this site does not monitor the service or collect reports itself. If the status looks normal, check whether other sites load, restart the phone or router, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, and try another device.

Why does my Digi SIM say 'sin servicio' or 'solo llamadas de emergencia'?

Those messages mean the phone has not registered on the mobile network, or the SIM is not being read. Turn airplane mode on and off, then set network selection to automatic. If it continues, reseat the SIM and try it in another phone before you assume the line has failed.

Why is Mi DIGI not letting me sign in?

A stale session or old app data can block sign-in, even when the line itself works. Close the app and clear its stored data; if that does not help, try the web customer area. For account access that still fails, use the help centre: https://www.digimobil.es/contacto.php?act=contact.

Why is my Digi fibre router online but Wi-Fi has no internet?

A router can show normal lights while Wi-Fi clients still have no route out. Test one device by cable and restart the router from the power; that separates a Wi-Fi fault from a fibre fault. If cable also fails, leave the fibre equipment powered on and contact support through the help centre: https://www.digimobil.es/contacto.php?act=contact.

Why can I make calls on my Digi line but mobile data does not load?

A phone can keep calls working while data fails when the APN profile is missing or changed. Check that mobile data is on and that the APN matches Digi Spain's settings in the help centre. After you save it, toggle airplane mode or restart the phone so it registers again.

How we track Digi

The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for Digi, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for Digi, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.

When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. Digi doesn't publish a public status page that we know of, so user reports are often the quickest sign that something is wrong on their side.
