How to fix Delta not working
Delta is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:
Your browser tries to reach delta.nl over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.
Split Delta from Wi-Fi
Turn Wi-Fi off for one test, then open delta.nl or the DELTA TV app on mobile data. On iPhone, use Settings > Wi-Fi, then turn Wi-Fi off; on Pixel or stock Android, use Settings > Network & internet > Internet, then turn Wi-Fi off. If it works there, focus on your home Wi-Fi or fiber line.
Refresh DELTA TV
If only DELTA TV fails, force close the app and open it again after your internet test passes. On Android, go to Settings > Apps > DELTA TV > Storage & cache > Clear cache. On iPhone or iPad, touch and hold the app, tap Remove App > Delete App, then install it again from the App Store.
Power cycle the Delta modem
Unplug the power from the DELTA modem and from any separate router or Wi-Fi point. Wait 30 seconds, plug the modem back in first, and give its lights time to settle before you reconnect the other device. Then test with an Ethernet cable if your computer has that port.
Renew the Delta connection
On Windows, open Command Prompt and run ipconfig /flushdns, then ipconfig /renew. On macOS, open System Settings > Wi-Fi > Details next to your network > TCP/IP > Renew DHCP Lease. Retry a Dutch site that is not part of Delta, so a local DNS cache does not mislead you.
While Delta is down: what to use instead
- Mobile hotspot If your fixed internet is out, a phone hotspot on another mobile network can cover mail, banking, and basic work until the line comes back.
- MijnDELTA in a browser If the app will not load, try the account area on delta.nl from a browser to check invoices or change customer details.
- NPO Start If the DELTA TV app is the problem, NPO Start can cover Dutch public TV when you still have another working connection.
- Customer service by phone If chat or the website keeps failing, use the customer service number printed on your contract or bill.
Problems at the same time as Delta
Since 3 November, Delta's only spike in problem reports overlapped a spike at another service.
When several services get problem reports at once, something they share, such as a cloud host or a network, can be the real cause. Matching times alone do not prove it.

What happens when Delta goes down
Delta is a Dutch telecom provider for internet, TV, fixed calling, and mobile services, with many customers in Zeeland and other parts of the Netherlands. When it has trouble, home broadband, the DELTA TV app, email, and account access can be interrupted.
Fixed internet is usually the first thing you notice, with pages timing out, Wi-Fi still showing as connected, or the modem failing to get back online. TV can freeze or lose channels, while the DELTA TV app may refuse to start a stream or keep buffering after sign-in. MijnDELTA can also be slow during a wider fault, so checking invoices, subscriptions, or service messages may fail. Problems are often regional or partial, because a fiber fault, local maintenance issue, or authentication problem can hit one area or one product while other services keep working.

Tip: Delta doesn't list a public status page that we know of, so its help centre and the report chart on this page are the best places to check.
How we track Delta
The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for Delta, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for Delta, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.
When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. Delta doesn't publish a public status page that we know of, so user reports are often the quickest sign that something is wrong on their side.
