On iPhone, open Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off. On stock Android, open Settings > Network & internet > Internet and switch Wi-Fi off. If the login works on mobile data, restart the router before using that Wi-Fi again for bank access.
Clear caixabank.es site data
In Chrome on desktop, open Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > View permissions and data stored across sites, search for caixabank.es, then delete the stored data. What happens when CaixaBank goes down

CaixaBank is a Spanish bank at caixabank.es, with CaixaBankNow for personal banking and apps used by households, freelancers, and companies in Spain. When it has trouble, you can lose access to balances, transfers, Bizum, and card controls during the same errand.

Login is usually the first place you notice it, with the app hanging after you enter your credentials or the website returning a generic unavailable message. If you get in, balances may be stale and payments can stop at confirmation, especially transfers and Bizum. Card purchases in shops may still work because they use separate payment rails, but freezing a card or changing limits inside the app can fail. Reports can cluster by region or mobile network in Spain, while many incidents stay partial, with one channel broken and another still usable.

Why is my CaixaBank card declined online or with contactless?

Check in CaixaBankNow that the card is active and that online purchases are allowed for it. For online shopping, the merchant may send you back to the app for approval, and the payment can fail if that confirmation times out. If contactless fails at a shop, try chip and PIN; if the cards section in the app also will not load, the problem may be wider than the terminal.

Why does caixabank.es load but transfers or account movements do not?

The public website can load while account movements or transfer screens fail after login. Sign out, sign back in, and compare the app with the browser before you repeat a transfer. If a confirmation screen hangs, wait for the movement record to appear or fail before submitting the same payment again.
