How to fix Izzi not working
Izzi is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:
Your browser tries to reach izzi.mx over your own connection, right now. Nothing is sent to us or stored.
Reconnect to your Izzi Wi-Fi
Open Settings > Wi-Fi on iPhone, or Settings > Network & internet > Internet on Android. Turn Wi-Fi off, turn it back on, then choose your home network and enter the modem password from the label if your phone asks for it.
Restart the Izzi modem
Unplug the modem power cable from the wall outlet, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in. Give it 5 to 10 minutes, then try a site or app after the Power and Online lights stop changing.
Clear DNS on your computer
On Windows, open Command Prompt and run ipconfig /flushdns, then close and reopen your browser. On macOS, open Terminal and run sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder, then enter your Mac password if asked.
Reset the saved network
On iPhone, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. On Windows 11, go to Settings > Network & internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset, then restart and connect to your Izzi Wi-Fi again.
While Izzi is down: what to use instead
- Mobile data Use a Telcel, AT&T México, or Movistar connection as a hotspot if your home internet is the part that failed.
- izzi.mx Try the website if the app will not open, hangs after login, or does not load your account details.
- izzi app Use the app if the website will not load or the payment page keeps failing in your browser.
- Another fixed connection A Telmex, Totalplay, or Megacable line can cover work, school, or streaming while your main service is out.
Problems at the same time as Izzi
Since 3 November, all 3 of Izzi's spikes in problem reports overlapped a spike at another service.
When several services get problem reports at once, something they share, such as a cloud host or a network, can be the real cause. Matching times alone do not prove it.

What happens when Izzi goes down
Izzi is a Mexican telecom service for home internet, cable TV, fixed phone, and mobile service. Families and small businesses rely on it for work, school, streaming, and payments, so an outage can cut both the connection and the TV service at once.
Broadband problems usually show up first as a modem that stays online but gives no internet, or as Wi-Fi that connects while pages and apps time out. TV service can lose live channels or on demand playback, and the phone line may have no dial tone when the local network is affected. The app can also fail to load account details or payments during a wider service issue. These problems are often partial by neighborhood or city, so one address can be down while another nearby connection still works.

Tip: Izzi doesn't list a public status page that we know of, so its help centre and the report chart on this page are the best places to check.
How we track Izzi
The status on this page comes from user-submitted problem reports for Izzi, counted in 15-minute windows over the last 24 hours. Each window is compared with the normal level for Izzi, so a few complaints on a quiet day don't trigger anything, but a sudden jump well above normal does.
When reports climb well above normal, the status here changes to partial outage or major outage and the chart moves with it. Izzi doesn't publish a public status page that we know of, so user reports are often the quickest sign that something is wrong on their side.
