How to fix Inexio not working

Inexio is up on our end, so if it won't work for you, the problem is most likely on your side. Work through these in order:

Refresh Inexio Wi-Fi
On iPhone or iPad, open Einstellungen > WLAN, switch WLAN off, wait 10 seconds, and switch it back on. If mobile data opens inexio.net while the home Wi-Fi does not, keep the rest of the checks on the Inexio connection.
Read the Inexio router state
Open http://fritz.box from a device on the home network; with the German FRITZ!Box menu, go to Internet > Online-Monitor. If it shows no Internet connection, open System > Ereignisse and read the Internetverbindung entries before you change any access data.
Clear DNS for Inexio pages
On Windows 11, right-click Start, open Terminal (Administrator), and run ipconfig /flushdns. Then run nslookup inexio.net; if that fails while ping 1.1.1.1 replies, set DNS back to Automatisch (DHCP) under Einstellungen > Netzwerk und Internet > WLAN > Hardwareeigenschaften > DNS-Serverzuweisung > Bearbeiten.
Restart Inexio line hardware
Unplug the FRITZ!Box, and if your Inexio line has a separate fiber modem or ONT, unplug that box too. Power the fiber modem or ONT first, wait for its link light to settle, then power the FRITZ!Box and check Internet > Online-Monitor again. With DSL, skip the modem step and give the FRITZ!Box several minutes before you test a page.

While Inexio is down: what to use instead

Mobile data hotspot Use your phone as a hotspot if the home broadband line is out and you need email or work chat.
Public Wi-Fi A library, cafe, station, or workplace connection can cover basic browsing while you wait; use a VPN for private work.
Mobile voice calls Use a mobile phone if the fixed phone line has no dial tone, especially for calls that cannot wait.
Second connection If you have access to another fixed line at work or with family, move large downloads there until the service works again.

What happens when Inexio goes down

Inexio is a German telecom provider at inexio.net, with regional broadband and fixed-line phone service for homes and local businesses. An outage can cut internet access, block VoIP calls, and leave work devices or home routers offline.

Broadband access usually shows the first symptom: pages stop loading, video calls freeze, downloads stall, and your router may keep Wi-Fi up without a usable internet line. Fixed-line phone can fail with it, so calls do not connect or drop after ringing. Business connections can feel the hit through broken VPN sessions and payment terminals, even when the fault only affects the access line. Problems can be partial or regional with a provider like this; one town can be offline while another still works.

Is Inexio down right now?

Why is my Inexio landline phone not registering through the router?

The fixed line phone service usually depends on the router having a working internet connection, so fix a dead connection first. If internet works, check the telephony page in the router and the cable or DECT connection to the phone. Avoid a factory reset unless you have the access data saved.

What can I do if the Glasfaser or DSL light keeps blinking on my router or modem?

A blinking sync light usually means the router or modem has not locked onto the line yet. Check power, the wall socket, the fiber or DSL cable, and any separate ONT box if you have one. If it never becomes steady after a restart, the fault may be outside your home.

Why can't I log in to my Inexio customer account or view my bill?

First rule out a browser problem by trying a private window or another device. If the login page loads but rejects your details, use the password reset path rather than making repeated guesses. If the page itself will not load while other sites work, treat it as a website or account portal issue and try again later.
