EA app stuck in offline mode
App will not go back online
The EA app stays in offline mode or won't update itself even though your internet works. EA says clearing the cache often fixes it, but not during a server outage.

How to fix it
Check EA server status for an outage first.
In the EA app, open the menu, go to Help and select App Recovery.
Select Clear Cache.
If the app will not open, use Start, All Apps, the EA folder and App Recovery instead.
