Network connection error

Your device took too long to reach Netflix. Netflix says this usually points to a connection problem on the device or the home network.

Is Netflix down right now? Operational: 7 problem reports in the last hour. If it were down for everyone, this error could come from there; right now it looks normal.

How to fix error NW-2-5

On the error screen, open More Details and run the network check, or test another internet app.
Unplug the device, wait at least 15 seconds, then plug it back in.
Power off the modem and router for 30 seconds, turn them back on, and give them about a minute before retrying.
On PlayStation or Xbox, switch the DNS setting back to automatic.
If nothing helps, ask your internet provider to check for outages.
